East Sussex County Council – Assisted Living Projects

BMR are delighted to be working for ESCC on two assisted living projects. Our works across the two projects consist of the complete refurbishment and extension works to existing council owned properties in Battle and Hastings to provide additional accommodation for the councils Adult Social Care provision. This not only includes standard refurbishment work such as kitchens, bathrooms and living areas, but also includes the provision of specialist care equipment such as traverse room cover hoisting, accessible cooking showering and bathing facilities.

Mayfield Girls School

Works are currently ongoing and have reached the final third of delivery on our Mayfield Girls School Health Centre Project. A CLT framed single storey health centre clad externally with French limestone and Zinc and fitted out internally with treatment rooms, consultation rooms, isolation rooms, kitchen facilities and a patient reception area. We hope to have a “soft handover” of the internal areas to the school staff in June 2024 to allow time for training and set up before the summer. External areas are on target to complete in August.
