This project was carried out by Toms former partnered company BMR Contracts Ltd. Toms direct role within this project was to make the final tender adjustments, project manage the contract and ensure it was delivered to budget. Supported by the other directors this contract was delivered on time and to budget. The majority of trades involved in this project are now currently employed by BMR Construction.
Description / Scope of Works
Following extensive fire damage to a residential block in London Borough at Southwark. The local council required the block of 22 flats to be stripped back to concrete frame and completely refurbished to Decent Homes Standards.
The main works were subcontracted to BMR and packages included
- Complete new roof
- All external faced brickwork
- All mechanical services (D&B)
- New internal floors, ceilings and walls
- New kitchens & bathrooms
- All plastering
- New boilers
- New garden walls
